System Flush and Leak Check
Remove aerator (1) from the kitchen
A.
faucet and turn faucet handle(s) (2) to
the full on mixed position. Turn on hot
and cold water supplies and flush water
lines for 1 minute. IMPORTANT: This
flushes away any debris that could
cause damage to internal parts. Turn
faucet off and reinstall aerator.
Turn filter faucet handle (1) to the
B.
on (up) position and flush for 5 minutes.
Important: During the flush out
period, the vent feature needs to
be activated to relieve any trapped

air in the system. This should be

activated at least 3 times for 5
seconds continually. This is done by
pressing the air release valve (2),
located on the top of the filter unit,
down for 5 seconds then releasing it.
Repeat this at least 3 times. Before
each use of the filter spout, run water
for 5 seconds to activate filter.
Check all connections at arrows for
C.
leaks. Retighten if necessary, but do
not overtighten.
