PRODUCT FEATURES
Guitar with loudspeaker, ON/OFF switch, lights, pre-re-
corded tunes for simulation (one key one note) and fol-
low me functions, five musical keys and numerous sound
effects.
USE AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The IMC MICKEY ELECTRIC GUITAR, is easy to use and oper-
ate. We are certain that it will provide your children with
great entertainment. Thank you for having purchased and
placed your trust in one of our products. To consult our

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
First, before giving the product to children, remove the
plastic, wires and any other object designed to fasten it
during transport.
This product comes factory-prepared for the "try-me"
function and its functions are limited in this mode. For
normal use put the function button in the NORMAL posi-
tion (see Fig. 1).
OPERATION WITH BATTERIES
Warning!
This product comes with batteries installed to enable the
"try-me" feature to operate. These batteries may not be
in optimum condition or they may be spent. We recom-
mended to replace the batteries.
Batteries should always be handled or replaced under
adult supervision.
Battery Installation
Open the battery compartment located at the back of the
guitar using a Phillips head screwdriver, as shown in the
diagram (see Figure 1). Insert 3 type LR6 (AA) 1.5V alka-
line batteries only in the battery compartment. Respect the
polarity shown in the diagram (see Fig. 2). Replace the
battery cover and safety screw to prevent your children
gaining access to the battery compartment.
To start:
First of all, ensure the function switch is in the NORMAL po-
sition (see Fig. 1). Press the ON-OFF switch (see Fig. 3) to
switch the product on and it will play a short tune to tell
you the product is ready to use.
Operating:
The volume control is situated near the bottom of the gui-
tar and is shaped like two cogs (see Figure 3). Adjust the
volume to the desired level. Press any of the numbered
buttons to play the musical notes (see Figure 3). The but-
tons light up when pressed. To change from musical note
mode to sound effects, press the button near the neck of
the guitar with the picture of the musical note and the
word "Oh!" (see Figure 3). Now, when you press the but-

tons numbered 1 to 5 they will activate the different sound
effects and lights. Press the musical note button again to
return to musical note mode. There are other sound ef-
fects buttons. These are the central button which is like the
sound hole of the guitar, the Mickey's-head-shaped but-
ton and the lever at the bottom (see Figure 3).
One Key One Note or simulation mode; press the button
with the musical note on it at the bottom of body of the
guitar (see Figure 3). You will hear an accompanying
rhythm and when you press any of the musical notes you
will hear a pre-recorded tune, as through you were play-
ing it yourself. You can also use the central button (the
guitar's sound hole). Press the button again to choose and
select from among the other available tunes. To stop this
function, press the button with the picture of the musical
note and the word "Oh!" near the bottom of the neck of the
guitar (see Figure 3) or use the ON/OFF switch.
The follow me or learning function allows you to play along
with the pre-recorded tunes by pressing the keys that light
up. To activate this function, press the central button in
the smallest of the two volume control cogs (See Figure
3). When you press the button, one of the buttons on the
guitar neck will light up. Press it to start playing the tune.
The keys will then light up in turn, showing you which you
should press to play the tune. If you press a different key
or make a mistake the guitar will make a noise to let you
know. If you do not press the right key within a few sec-
onds, the next note will light up:
The product has a stand-by or energy saving mode, which
is activated if you do not press any buttons for a few sec-
onds. This helps save battery power. Press any button to
reactivate the toy.
When you have finished playing, switch the toy off by us-
ing the ON/OFF button.
Advice for correct usage
Caution!
Use of the supporting strap without the safety system is not
recommended for children under three years of age due to
a possible risk of strangulation and asphyxiation.
CARE AND SECURITY
MAINTENANCE
Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the equipment. Do not
use detergents or solvents. If the equipment becomes wet,
turn it off and remove the batteries immediately. Dry the
battery compartment with a dry rag. Leave the battery
compartment open over night so that it dries completely.
Do not try to use the equipment until it is completely dry.
WARNING:
- Not suitable for children under 24 months due to the type
of product and for whom it is designed.
- Please keep the packaging for future reference as it con-
tains very important information.
- Please note that due to technical improvements this
product may differ from the one that appears in the illus-
tration.
- This product requires 3 type LR6 (AA) 1.5V batteries
(included).
- This product is distributed with 3 x LR6/AA batteries for
the "try-me" function. For normal operation of the prod-
uct, it may be necessary to replace the batteries.
- The batteries or accumulators must be inserted accord-
ing to the polarity indicated in the illustration.
- Used batteries or accumulators must be removed from
the toy; failure to do so could cause damage.
- Do not mix old batteries with new ones.
- Do not mix different types of batteries.
- Use only those batteries recommended by the manufac-
turer or equivalents.
- Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
- The battery terminals must not be bridged or shorted.
- Changing or handling the batteries must always be car-
ried out under the supervision of an adult.
- Remove the batteries from the compartment if the unit is
not going to be used for a long period of time.
- Please respect the environment and deposit used batter-
ies in the containers provided.
- Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy
before being charged.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under
adult supervision.
- This product achieves better performance using alkaline
batteries.
- Read the instructions before use, follow them and keep
them for reference.
- The unit may malfunction when there is a radio interfer-
ence appeared on the power line. The unit will revert to
normal operation when the interference stops.
- Under the environment with electrostatic discharge, the
sample may malfunction and require user to reset the sam-
ple.

- Under the environment with Fast Transient, the sample
may malfunction and require user to reset the sample.
- Remove all packaging and elements holding and pro-
tecting the product during transport before giving it to
children (plastic, labels, wires, etc).
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RESPONSIBLE USE AND FOR PRO-
TECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
Put all the transport packaging, cardboard, plastic, etc, in
the recycling containers in your neighbourhood.
Use rechargeable batteries whenever possible.
Remember to turn off the toy if you have finished playing
with it and take out the batteries if you are not going to be
using it again for a long time.
If you no longer want the toy and it still works, do not
throw it away. Remember that other people can still enjoy
it, and find bodies or associations that can give it to them.
At the end of the life span of this product, it must not be
disposed of as normal household rubbish. It should be
delivered to a collection point for recycling electrical and
electronic devices. Consult the symbol on the product, in
the user manual or on the packaging for more informa-
tion.
The materials are recyclable in accordance with their mark-
ings. If you recycle materials or find ways to reuse old de-
vices, you make a considerable contribution to protecting
the environment.
