In Back Mode:
• Solar energy provides power to the loads as first priority, the remaining power charges the battery.
• If solar energy is not sufficient to power all connected loads, Utility will supply power to the loads and battery at the same time.
• If the solar energy is insufficient and there is no Utility, the generator can be started, which is equivalent to an Uninterruptible power supply。The
generator supplies load power and PV charges the battery.
• Battery discharges only in abnormal condition of Utility, When the Utility is normal, the battery does not discharge, only charges until the battery is
full, when the Utility is cut off or shut down, and the battery can supply power to the load.
• Solar energy provides power to the loads as first priority, the remaining power charges the battery.
• Power source Priority is Solar >Utility >Bat>Diesel
• Charging source Priority is Solar > Utility>Diesel
Economic mode
In this mode, batteries are used to transfer energy. The purpose of Economic Mode is to save electricity bill, charging/discharging time and power can
be set by APP or LCD display.
In Economic Mode:
• Solar energy provides power to the loads as first priority, the remaining power charges the battery.
• If the power generated by photovoltaic is insufficient to provide load power, the remaining energy is provided by the battery (meet certain
conditions), if it is still insufficient, then the grid provided.
• If there is no power Utility, the generator can be started, which is equivalent to an uninterruptible power supply. The generator supplies load power
and PV charges the battery.
• Battery discharges when the SOC value of the lithium battery or the voltage value of the lead-acid battery is higher than the value you set.
Otherwise, the battery does not discharge, only charges by photovoltaic until the value of battery voltage or SOC more than the value you set by 10%
before it starts to discharge.
• Utility provides power to the loads only when battery voltage or SOC drops to either low-level warning voltage or the setting point.
• If there is no grid power, the generator can be started, and the generator will supply power to the load and charge the battery at the same time.
• Power source Priority is Solar > Bat > Utility >Diesel
• Charging source Priority is Solar > Utility >Diesel
SYSTEM OPERATION
Powering ON the Inverter
Step 1: Switch ON the DC and AC circuit breaker
Wait a few seconds and the inverter will start a self-test procedure when the indicator light flashes, when it is done successfully, the green led should be
solid on and the graphical display should start displaying.
Step 2: Switch ON the circuit breaker on the battery side
For Lithium battery, turn on the isolator firstly, then switch on the battery; Then the battery icon and its parameters should be shown on the screen.
Step 3: Press EPS Output On/Off switch
The EPS Output on/off switch is used to control the relay of the EPS port, when the switch is off means that there is no output from the EPS port.
Step 4: Switch on the loads
The load parameters should show. It is recommended to turn on one by one, to avoid triggering the protection action due to a large instantaneous
impact when the load is turned on at the same time.
Powering OFF the Inverter
Step1: Turn off the loads;
Step 2: Turn off the PV;
Step 3: Turn off battery (For Lithium battery, switch off the battery firstly, then disconnect the isolator.)
Step 4: Turn off the AC switch;
Step 5: Wait for at least 5 minutes after the LED and graphical display black out for the internal circuits to discharges energy;
Step 6: Disconnect all the power cables and communication cables if needed
WARNING
After the inverter powers off the remaining electricity and heat may till cause electrical shock and body burns. Please only begin servicing the
inverter ten minutes after the power-off.
