Before starting any operation, read this manual and keep it for further consultation.

WARNINGS
Do not use the grill with wet hands, and wet/bare feet.
Place the grill at 3 cm minimum from walls or furniture, being sure that the same are not flammable.
Do not use electrical prolong wires without being sure of the load to bear in Watt.
Do not pull the cable to disconnect the grill.
Do not leave the grill to atmospherically agents (sun, rain etc.).
Do not leave the grill within children range.
Do not plug in multiple sockets.
INSTRUCTIONS OF INSTALLATION
The installation operations must be carried out by qualified personnel and must be according to the existing norms.
Once the appliance has been removed from packing, peel off the adhesive protection plastic film. The glue residual
must be removed accurately (do not use abrasive products). Verify that the appliance is perfectly levelled on the
base. The appliance is set for A.C. operation at the power corresponding to the data brought on the technical plate.
The earth conductor cable is marked by green/yellow colours. The appliance is supplied with a cable conform to the
power stated on the technical plate, and it is only necessary to connect a standard plug. If direct connection is
required, place between the appliance and the mains, a switch dimensioned to the corresponding load in accordance
with existing norms. The earth green/yellow cable must not be discontinued.
Before connecting the appliance verify that:
The relief valve and the plant can stand the load of the appliance (see technical data plate).
The feeding plant is outfit with an efficient earth socket according to existing standards.
The socket or the switch used for the connection are easily reachable with the appliance installed.
CAUTION: the manufacturer declines all responsibility if these safety rules are not observed.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
To switch on the contact grill. Turn the knob of the main switch (A, Fig.1) to position 1 and the temperature
thermostat (C, Fig.1) to the desired temperature.
Before using the grill. The grease residuals could produce smoke and unpleasant smells. It is therefore advisable to
heat up the plate for about 15 minutes at the maximum temperature before using the same for the first time. The
appliance has two pilot lamps:
green lamp: power on (B, Fig.1).
yellow lamp: heaters on (D, Fig.1).
To switch off the appliance set the main switch (A, Fig.1) back to position 0.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance operations, the appliance must be disconnected and cold. The stainless steel parts
must be treated with non-abrasive detergents. The control panel and the knobs should be wiped with a soft humid
cloth. The cast iron cooking surfaces have to be cleaned exclusively through the stainless steel spatula supplied with
the machine and/or by a dry abrasive sponge.
Never wash the appliance with a jet of water as it might cause infiltrations in the electrical components.
Before carrying out any maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply.
The control of the electrical components should be carried out by qualified personnel.
