Make sure that the valve is level.
Install the valve so that the outside surface of the
finished wall falls between the "min" and "max"
markings.
Flush the hot and cold supplies
The hot supply will flush through the bottom outlet,
and the cold supply will flush through the top outlet –
see the arrows on the flushing block.
If one outlet is plugged, flush one side.
Turn the water off.
Remove the flushing block and turn it 90°.
Reinstall the flushing block.
Flush the other side.
