Additional safety-hints for the vacuum cleaner

The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision. Never leave the
machine unattended if the master switch is on.

Never grasp the mains plug with wet hands.

Check the connection lead and mains plug for damage before each use. Have a damaged connection lead
replaced immediately by an authorized service-station or by an electrician.

Never use to appliance to vacuum explosive liquids, flammable gases, explosive dusts, or undiluted acids or
solvents! These include petrol, paint thinner, and heating oil, which may form explosive vapours or mixtures when
agitated by the suction air. This applies also to undiluted acids and solvents, and aluminium and magnesium dusts.

Do not use the appliance to vacuum burning or smouldering objects.
•
It is not permitted to use the appliance in potentially explosive locations.
