Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack
snap into place and that the battery pack is secured in
the hand vac before beginning operation.
Locate the latches on the side of the battery pack and
depress both sides to release the battery pack from the
hand vac.

STARTING/STOPPING THE VACUUM
See Figure 2, page 6.
To start the hand vac, squeeze and release the switch
trigger.
To reduce the suction, squeeze and release the switch
trigger a second time.
To stop the hand vac, squeeze and release the switch
trigger a third time.
This product contains no serviceable parts.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING:
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-
based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact
with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic which could result in serious personal
injury.

Remove the battery pack.
Turn dust bowl cap counterclockwise to remove.

INSTALLING ACCESSORIES
See Figure 3, page 6.
Install only accessories designed for use with this vacuum.
Remove the battery pack.
Insert the accessory onto the nozzle.
Push the accessory securely into place.
When not in use, remove and store the accessory.
EMPTYING THE DUST BOWL
See Figure 4, page 6.
The dust bowl should be checked, emptied, and cleaned
periodically for maximum dust collection.
Remove the battery pack.
Turn dust bowl cap counterclockwise to remove.
Hold unit over waste receptacle.
Shake lightly or tap sides to dislodge debris.
Replace dust bowl cap and turn clockwise to secure.
Turn pre-filter counterclockwise and remove from dust
bowl.
Turn filter counterclockwise and remove from dust bowl.
Shake or lightly brush any dust or dirt off the filter and
pre-filter.
Empty the dust bowl; wash if necessary.
NOTE: Before reassembling, make sure all pieces are
completely dry. Allow 24 hours for parts to dry completely.
To reassemble, insert the filter into the dust bowl and turn
clockwise to lock into place.
Insert pre-filter into dust bowl and turn clockwise to lock
into place.
Replace dust bowl cap and turn clockwise to secure.
When purchasing replacement filter, request recommended
part number 318927001.
