3.2 Wearing the helmet
Adjust the chin strap so that it adheres to the lower part of the jaw
without pulling. To check the correct tension, open your mouth and
you should feel the strap pull against your chin.
Adjust the helmet at the back using the adjustment system, as
described in paragraph 3.3.
3.3 Adjustment system
The OPEN FACE TRAIL HELMET model VREQH2 (MIPS) can
be adjusted using the wheel at the back of the helmet.
The purpose of the adjustment is to adapt the helmet to the we-
arer.
Failure to adjust the helmet, or incorrect adjustment, can lead to a
lack of protection in the event of an impact.
Adjust the helmet by turning the wheel clockwise to tighten or
counter clockwise to loosen, as shown in the figure below.

To check correct adjustment, try rotating the helmet forwards
and backwards; if worn and adjusted correctly, the helmet should
neither fall forward covering the eyes nor fall backwards leaving
the forehead uncovered.
