3. USING THE APPLIANCE
The Hot Air Gun can be used for:
•
Plumbing work such as tube connections, soldering and bowing tubes;
•
Removing paint, varnish and lacquer without fire risk;
•
Quickly drying of appliances which have become wet;
•
Drying surfaces for quick repairs;
•
Removing self-adhesive labels cleanly, placing PVC labels;
•
Blistering after sticking PVC materials can be smoothed after heating;
•
Easy removal of vinyl carpeting:
•
Shaping all synthetics with a low temperature (400 degrees), including polyethylene and
PVC;
•
Shaping all synthetics with a high temperature (600 degrees) including acrylic and plexi-
glass;
•
Smelting synthetics, including materials and foils with PVC layers;
•
Applying heat shrinking tubes;
•
Shrinkwrappers;
•
Thawing tubes and engines;
•
Repairing finishing layers: enamel of bath and household appliances; applying epoxy pow-
der cover layers;
•
Repairing of skis, surfboards and other sports goods;
•
Unscrewing overtight screws and connections.

You can work manually with this hot air gun or you can put it in a vertical position.
•
Check if the mains switch is in the "0" position before you connect the apparatus;
•
Keep the main lead away from the hot air stream and the mouth piece at all times;
•
Put the mains switch in position I or II to let your hot air gun operate:
"I" = 400 degrees, air flow 250 l/min.
"0" = Off
"II" = 600 degrees, air flow 500 l/min.
Switching off:
Push the switch to 0.
Tip: If you want to get the best result, test all appliances on a little part of the workpiece.

Inbetween usage, the machine can easily be placed on its flat rear side (5). This prevents any
hot area from the machine getting into contact with other surfaces
The flat rear side (5) also allows the machine to be used in upright stationary mode.
After usage, always place the machine on its flat rear side (5). This allows the machine to cool
down safely.
