3. Ceiling Fan Assembly

Position the Fan Blade and Blade Support Plate,
curving downward onto the Fan Motor Assembly Flange
Support, as shown in Figure 14.
Mount the Fan Blade and Blade Support Plate onto the
Fan Motor Assembly Flange Support using Four #8-32
x 1/2" Serrated Head Screws (supplied in ceiling fan
parts bag) (Figure 14).
Repeat for remaining Four Fan Blades and Blade
Support Plates.
To Secure the Five Fan Blades and Blade Support
Plate to the Fan Motor Assembly Flange Supports,
Securely tighten all #8-32 x 1/2" Serrated Head Screws.
NOTE: Take care not to scratch the Fan Housing or
blades when installing the Fan Blades and Blade
Support Plates.
WARNING
!
To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend the
fan motor assembly flange supports when installing
the blades and blade support plates, balancing the
blades or cleaning the fan. Do not insert foreign
objects in between rotating fan blades.
A spare #8-32 x 1/2" Serrated Head Screw is supplied
in parts bag, if needed.
You have now partially completed the assembly of your
new Ceiling Fan, proceed to "How to Hang Your Ceiling
Fan".
