4 DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE

4.1 Features
Complete VHF diversity wireless microphone system
• Set includes receiver unit and one wireless microphone
• Matches transmitter TM-250 with the same carrier frequency
• Switching diversity system with two folding antennas
• Operation with fixed VHF frequency 179.000 MHz or 214.000 MHz
• LED indicator for power, signal input and AF peak
• Output level control
• Squelch control to eliminate noise bursts
• 6.3 mm and XLR output
• Operation of the receiver unit via supplied power unit
• Power supply of microphone via 9 V battery (not supplied)
• License required

4.2 Operating elements and connections

1 Power indicator
Glows when the receiver is powered on.
2/3 Reception indicators
One of two indicators glows when RF is received by antenna A or B.
4 Audio peak indicator
Flashes red when the audio signal received approaches overload clipping level.
5 Volume control
Controls the output level to a subsequent unit e.g. mixer or amplifier.
6 Antenna
Receives signals from the transmitter. The antennas should be angled away from each other, at an angle of
45 degrees from vertical.
