5. Reversing the freezer door
The opening side of the door can be changed from the right side to the left side if the location
of the appliance requires it.
Warning! Be careful when reversing the door.

The appliance must not be connected to a mains socket. Make sure it is unplugged from
the power supply.

Necessary tools (not included).

Additional parts in plastic bag (optional - depending on model): left hinge cover.
NOTE: When necessary, tilt the freezer backwards to gain access to the base, the appliance
should be placed on soft foam packaging or similar material to avoid damaging the back of the
freezer. To reverse the door, the following steps are generally recommended.
1.
Use a spatula or a fine-tipped screwdriver to remove the screw hole cover in the top left
corner and the top right hinge cover of the freezer. Fig. 4

Unscrew the special self-tapping flange screws used to secure the right-hand top hinge
assembly with an 8 mm socket spanner or spanner (hold the top of the door by hand
when doing so). Fig. 5

Remove the shaft from the upper hinge, twist and tighten it firmly, then store it in a safe
