Observe also the safety instructions provided by the
battery manufacturer.

Prevent the two battery clamps from making contact or
being connected to a conductive material.
•
Disconnect the supply before making or breaking the
connections to the battery.
•
Never connect the appliance to a battery or starter
which is in short-circuit.
•
Do not use the booster to jump start a vehicle while
charging the internal batteries.
•
Do not use the appliance if it has received a sharp blow,
been dropped or otherwise damaged in any way.
•
Never put the appliance on top of the battery while
using it.
•
Do not expose the device to high temperatures or extre-
mely high humidity.
•
Operation in explosive or flammable environments is not
permitted!
•
Keep away from jewelry. Remove personal metal objects
such as rings, bracelets, necklaces and watches when
working with a lead-acid battery.
•
Keep away from tools. Be extra cautious, to reduce the
risk of dropping a metal tool onto the battery. It might
spark or short-circuit the battery or other electrical part
that may cause an explosion.
•
Never leave the device unattended during charging.
•
Avoid open flames, fire and sparks.
•
Avoid charging frozen, damaged, defective, or non-re-
chargeable batteries.
•
Never leave the appliance exposed to adverse weather
conditions (rain, sun, fog, snow).
•
Store the machine in a dry place out of the reach of
children.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (inclu-
ding children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.

Battery acid is corrosive. If acid splashes onto your skin
or in your eyes, rinse immediately under clean running
water and consult a doctor.

Batteries can produce explosive gases – there is a risk
of explosion!

Failure to observe the operating instructions and the sa-
fety instructions could result in damage to the appliance
and danger for the operator and other persons.
Specified Conditions of Use
The device is for starting vehicles with a 12 V wiring system if
the start-up capacity of the vehicle batteries is insufficient. All
information in these operating instructions must be complied
with as part of the intended use.
Any other use is considered misuse and can lead to hazar-
dous situations.
The user alone is responsible for damage resul-
ting from improper use.
Start-up
Press the On/off switch button on the front of the unit. The
LEDs will indicate the current charge level as follows:
●●●● 100% Charging capacity
●●● 75% Charging capacity
●● 50% Charging capacity
●25% Charging capacity
Charge the internal battery if the Battery status
indicator shows less than 75%.
Switch the device off before connecting it for charging. For
safety reasons, do not charge and discharge the device at
the same time.
•
Connect the power supply unit to the charging station.
→ The charging process starts automatically.
Note You may also charge the internal batteries while
driving, using the 12 V DC car charging adapter (included).
Operation
Attention!
Batteries build up explosive gases during operation.
•
Wear appropriate protective clothing and eye protec-
tion.
•
Never smoke or use open flames near batteries. Avoid
sparks.
•
Always fully charge the device before use, as otherwise
the internal battery may be damaged.
•
Only use on vehicles with 12V on-board voltage.
•
Check that all vehicle power is switched off (radio, head-
lights, air conditioning, etc.).
•
Switch off the ignition of your vehicle and remove the
ignition key.
•
Check that the device is switched off.

•
First connect the red positive clamp to the positive termi-
nal of the vehicle battery.
•
Then connect the black clamp to a suitable earth point
on the vehicle body or to the negative terminal of the
vehicle battery.
