5. BATTERY AND MAINTENANCE
The lock uses a 9V Lithium battery. This battery is included in the
product case and can last for several months depending on usage.
WARNING: NEVER USE conventional 9V alkaline batteries or
rechargeable batteries.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that the 9V battery is Lithium and has the
same size as the original one to guarantee a correct contact with the
lock terminals.
It is recommended to use the specific battery for int-LOCK dis-
tributed by AYR to avoid possible damage or a considerable re-
duction in the autonomy of the system.

NOTE: Both system and remote control memory will NOT be lost du-
ring battery replacement.
Always keep batteries away from children and do not allow them to
play with them.
Once the battery has reached the end of its useful life, it is very im-
portant that you dispose of it in special containers in accordance with
local legislation.
