INTRODUCTION
The light valve (LCD) in this product can change from light to dark at the point at which the
electricity switches over (photoelectricity principle). The darkness level can be set between DIN9
and 13. The UV IR filter installation consists of glass with a reflective coating, a multilayer light valve
(LCD) and a polariser. It can actively block the passage of UV rays and infrared rays, effectively
protecting the worker's eyes from the damage of UV rays and infrared rays. The auto-darkening
welding helmet features broader protection than a conventional helmet. The operating
temperature range is from -5°C to +55°C, while the relative humidity range is at 20%-80%.
Incorrect functions may occur outside the operating climate data, which may result in insecurities
during operation, meaning that safe work can no longer be guaranteed.
Working principle
The helmet can convert the electricity generated by welding into electronic signals. After
evaluating these signals, they are forwarded to the LCD-operated circuit. The light valve inside
switches from light to dark. This helps prevent damage to the worker's eyes.
