Thank you for choosing our electric barbecue. Before using the appliance, and to ensure
the best use, carefully read these instructions.
The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of death, injury and electrical
shock when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference,
along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and package. If applicable,
pass these instructions on to the next owner of the appliance. Always follow basic safety
precautions and accident-prevention measures when using an electrical appliance. We
assume no liability for customer failing to comply with these requirements.
Before using any electrical appliance, always observe basic safety pre-
cautions.
• Connect the device in such a way that the mains socket is easily acces-
sible at all times.
• Inspect power cord regularly for damage. If the power cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified person. Never try
to repair it yourself.
• Do not connect the unit to a timer or remote control outlet.
• Never immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water or
other liquids.
• Do not handle the plug with wet hands.
• Do not remove the plug from the socket by pulling on the cable, hold it
firmly with your hand by pulling on it.
• Do not use the cord as a handle.
• Lay the cord so that no one can trip over it. Do not let the cable go over
sharp edges.
• Do not use this appliance in damp rooms or in the rain.
• Position the appliance so that it cannot fall into the water. Should this
occur, immediately unplug the appliance from the power outlet and only
then touch the appliance.
• Unplug the appliance from the outlet when it is no longer in use.
• This appliance can be used by children 8 years of age and older and per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of ex-
perience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning use of the appliance in a safe manner and understand
the hazards involved.
• Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must not be carried out by
children without constant supervision.
• Keep children away from the grill and never leave the appliance unatten-
ded during use.
• Place the appliance on a stable and level surface.
• Make sure there are no easily flammable objects or materials around the grill.
• Always keep a minimum distance of 30 cm from the appliance to walls or
other appliances.
• Do not touch grill grate or other hot surfaces during operation.
• Do not move the appliance until it has cooled down completely. Only
