1. Bread Carriage Lever
2. Browning Control Knob
3. Defrost button
4. Reheat button
5. Cancel button
6. Removable Crumb Tray
1. Remove all packaging materials including those that may be inside the toasting slots or
toasting lever slots.
2. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. Do not use alcohol, abrasive cleaners
or scourers.
3. Make sure the crumb tray is pushed all the way into the back and that the lever is in the
uppermost position before plugging in the toaster's power cord.
4. Unwrap the power cord and plug into a 220-240V AC outlet.
5. Turn the browning control knob to the lightest setting.
6. Without inserting any food into the bread slots, push the bread lever all the way down until
it locks. (The lever will not lock if the toaster is not plugged into a power source.) The first
toasting process will preheat the new elements and burn off any dust which may have
accumulated during storage or manufacturing. It is normal for this burn off to create an
odour. Your toaster is now ready for use.
