The alarm clock is powered by four 1.5 V LR6 (AA) batteries.
1. Pull the battery compartment cover down.
2. Insert the batteries as indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment. Pay
attention to the correct polarity (+/-).
3. Replace the battery compartment cover and push it upwards. The locking tab must
snap audibly into place.
Once the batteries are inserted, the clock switches to the receiving mode, see next
chapter.
