Battery Charger

uct.
Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result
in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future refer-
ence.
Statement of Use
• For professional use only.
• This product and its accessories must not be modified in
any way.
• Do not use this product if it has been damaged.
• If the product data or hazard warning signs on the product
cease to be legible or become detached, replace without
delay.
• The product must only be installed, operated and serviced
by qualified personnel in an industrial environment.
WARNING All locally legislated safety rules regard-
ing installation, operation and maintenance shall be
respected at all times.
Intended use
This product is intended to charge the following RC battery
packs only. No other use permitted.

Safety Instruction
• Read these operating instructions before using the
charger.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (includ-
ing children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concern-
ing use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
• Use the charger only to charge Rodcraft battery packs.

• Do not charge non-rechargeable battery packs (primary
cells); risk of explosion.
• Insert only clean and dry battery packs onto the battery
holder of the charger and tool.
• The main voltage must match the voltage mentioned on
the type plate of the charger.
• The battery pack voltage must match the voltage men-
tioned on the type plate of the charger and tool.
• If you use an extension cable with the power adapter,
make sure that the total ampere rating of all products
plugged into the extension cable does not exceed the am-
pere rating of the extension cable.
• Avoid using extension wires with multiple sockets and si-
multaneous operation of multiple devices.
• Only use extension cables outdoors which have been ap-
proved for this purpose.
• Do not use any adapter plugs. Do not abuse cables.
• Place the power cord in a way so that people will not step
on it. Do not place anything on top of the power cord.
• Make sure no one is close to the battery pack when charg-
ing.
• Protect the main cable against heat, sharp edges, oil and
moving parts of the machine.
• Keep cables away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving
parts.
• If a protective cover is used on the battery pack, make
sure the cover is removed.
• Do not pull the plug from the socket by pulling the main
cable.
• Do not carry the charger by holding the main cable.
• We recommend users to operate the charger in a defined
protected and secure area.
• Do not operate the charger close to an explosive environ-
ment, for example close to a gas filling station.
• Do not expose the equipment to rain or wet conditions.
• Do not use the charger if dirty or wet.
• Do not cover the charger and keep the air vents of the
charger open.
• Never pour any liquid into an opening. This may cause
fire or electrical shock.
• Make sure the charger is stable when charging, to ensure
that the battery packs do not fall to the floor.
• No metal parts should come in contact with battery hold-
ers; risk of short circuit.
• Disconnect the charger from any AC outlet before clean-
ing. Use a damp cloth. Do not use liquid or spray deter-
gents for cleaning.
• Do not store battery packs along with metal objects; risk
of short circuit.
• Do not dispose of battery packs by throwing them into
fire or through household waste.
