OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• A layer of ice can form due to the humidity entering when the door is open. This
reduces the cooling capacity. If the layer is thicker than 2 mm, the refrigerator must
be defrosted.
• The refrigerator must be defrosted manually. Before defrosting, remove all food
items, the ice cube tray and the shelf. Set the temperature controller to „0" (the
compressor is now switched off) and leave the door open. After the ice has melted,
wipe the water out of the appliance. For faster defrosting you can put a bowl of
warm water (about 50 °C) is the appliance.
• Do not defrost the appliance with an electric heater, as the hot air can deform the
interior panelling.
• Do not scratch ice with sharp or pointed objects. This can damage the housing or
the cooling circuit.
• If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by a specialist.
