Maintenance attentions
• Maintenance attentions of electric pruning shears
1. Do not cut excessively large branches; do not cut materials other than branches such as
metals and stones, etc; do not use a vice to clamp tools; please replace the cutting blade if it
is worn or damaged;
2. Please keep the tool clean, clean the electric scissors, batteries and chargers with a clean cloth
(do not use corrosive detergents or solvents), and please use a soft brush or dry cloth to clean
the dust on the part top of the scissor;
3. Do not immerse the electric scissors, batteries and charger in water or other liquids;
4. Please use the tool correctly only for its intended use; please stop using it if there is any
damage to the electric scissors, batteries, charger, etc.
5. If the switch cannot be connected normally, turn off the electric scissors, do not use it. It will be
dangerous to check the electric shear without switch and will have to be brought in for repair;
6. Make sure that the switch is kept off when replacing accessories or during storage. This
preventive measure will reduce the risk of accidental ignition of the tool;
7. Please turn off the electric scissors when not in use and keep it out of the reach of children. The
use of electric shears by inexperienced people and untrained users is dangerous.
8. When using the electric scissors, respect the tools and intended use, consider the work
environment and activities; the use of the electric pruning shears for non-compliant operations
may cause a risk.
9. After it has been used, remove the dirt on the movable blade and counter blade, add lubricating
oil on the contact parts, keep the blade in the normal state of maintenance to increase the life
of the blade for subsequent use.
• Maintenance attentions of batteries
1. Don't recharge the batteries in an environment below 0°C and above 45°C; this could damage
the batteries and charger.
2. Make sure the switch is off before connecting the batteries; if the switch is turned on it can
cause an accident when the battery is inserted.
3. Use only the charger provided by the manufacturer to charge the batteries; chargers with
unmatched batteries can cause a fire risk during recharging.
4. When the batteries are not in use, store them away from small metal objects, such as paper
clips, coins, keys, nails and screws, which may shorten their life. The short circuit of the
battery can cause burns or a fire hazard.
5. Don't disassemble and reassemble the batteries.
6. Don't use short-circuited batteries.
7. Don't use batteries near heat sources.
8. Don't put the batteries into fire or water.
9. Don't charge the batteries near fire or in the sun.
10. Don't insert nails into batteries, do not hit batteries with a hammer or step on or pull them.
11. Don't use badly damaged or non-functioning batteries.
12. Don't directly solder the batteries.
13. Don't charge the batteries backwards, connect them with reversed poles or discharge them
too much.
14. Don't connect the batteries to the vehicle's charging socket or cigarette lighter socket.
15. Don't use batteries on incompatible equipment.
