General information
This attractive Let's Cook Table Chef TM is designed by Jan
des Bouvrie. This appliance not only enables you to prepare
delicious meals; it is also a feast for the eyes, with its luxury
design in combination with a double-sided grill plate.
Consequently, your Let's Cook Table Chef TM offers an
attractive background to a convivial evening in the company of
your family and friends.
Cooking tips
Grilling
You can use your Let's Cook Table Chef TM to grill meat, fish
and other food on the grill plate. Both sides of the grill plate can
be used; one side has a smooth surface, and the other side has
a griddle surface. Use the griddle side of the grill plate to obtain
the characteristic dark grilling stripes.
The best grilling results are obtained when the temperature-
control dial is turned to the maximum setting. You can start
grilling once the grill plate or the grill stone has heated up. The
orange light will remain lit to indicate that the appliance is kept
at the correct temperature.
The appliance's adjustable temperature setting can be used to
set the appliance to the most suitable temperature for your
meal.
Operation and controls

The equipment consists of the following parts:

Before first use
1 Remove all packaging materials and stickers from the
appliance.
2 Clean the appliance and all the accessories (see 'Cleaning
and maintenance') and dry them thoroughly.
3 Put the heating base on a stable surface.
4 Put the plug into the wall socket, switch on the appliance
and set it to a high temperature setting.
• The appliance may emit a little smoke and a
characteristic smell when you switch it on for the first
time. This is normal and it will soon disappear. Make sure
the appliance has sufficient ventilation.
5 Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
Preparing the appliance for use
1 Unwind the power cord from the lugs on the base of the
appliance.
2 Put the heating base on a stable surface.
3 Fit the grill plate to the heating base.
4 Put the plug in the wall socket. The red indicator light will be
lit to show that the appliance has been switched on.
5 Turn the temperature-control dial to set the temperature to
the required level: anticlockwise to increase the
temperature, clockwise to lower the temperature.
• Please note: only start grilling once the grill plate has
heated up.
• Please note: the heating base is hot when the appliance
is switched on. Allow the heating base to cool down
completely before moving it.
