• When the anchoring device is used as part of a fall-arrest system, users must be equipped with a way to limit
the maximum dynamic force when stopping the fall to a maximum value of 6 kN. A full-body harness is the only
authorized body holding device permitted for use in a fall-arrest system.

• Used by competent people trained in work at heights. All users must be in good physical and mental condition
and have no medical contraindications to working at heights
• Inspected annually by a competent person familiar with the requirements in effect in order to verify its state and
conformity. If it does not pass the annual inspection, it must be repaired by the manufacturer only FTC TREE

then re-tested. If it cannot be repaired, it must be discarded.
