Preparing the coffee
1.
Open the lid and fill the water container with cold water using the jug. Use the water level
indicator (3).
Never let the water level in the tank drop below
•
the minimum mark "4" and never fill it above the
maximum mark "8".

Insert a No. 4 paper filter or the permanent filter included with the filter holder. (Check
that the filter holder is properly inserted into the tabs).

Fill with the desired quantity of ground coffee and close the lid. (As a general rule, you
should allow 1 coffee spoon of ground coffee per cup).

Place the jug on the hotplate and press the key
indicator light comes on.
5.
The coffee begins to percolate into the jug after a few seconds.

The hotplate stays hot until the appliance is turned off. This keeps the coffee hot.
Your coffee machine is fitted with an anti-drip system which allows you to
remove the jug for a short time while the coffee is brewing so that you can serve
yourself a cup. When you take the drug off the hot plate, the flow of coffee
is temporarily interrupted. The jug should be replaced within 30 seconds to
prevent spillage.
6.
When you have finished, press the key
The coffee maker switches off automatically once the coffee has passed through. The
coffee remains warm in the insulated jug for 3 to 4 hours.
Before launching a new cycle, let the coffee cool down for 3 to 4 minutes and fill up the
water tank.
Do not open the cover when the coffee is brewing.

Steam and scalding water may be ejected: Burn risk!
The jug gets hot when the appliance is in use. It

should therefore only be picked up by its handle.
Do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.

Programming a delayed start
•
Plug the coffee machine into a mains socket. Prepare the water tank and coffee.
•
Set the time (See "Setting the time" section).
To set the desired coffee brewing time:
1.
Press the "Prog" (program) key twice. "TIMER" is displayed in
the top left of the screen.
2.
Press the "H" (Hour) key one or more times to set the hour and
press the "M" (Minute) key one or more times to set the minutes.
After a few seconds, the screen will go back to displaying the
time.

Note: for a reminder of the delayed start time, press the "Prog" (program) key twice.
3.
Press the key
(on/off) twice. The green "Auto" indicator light will come on. The
coffee machine will come on at the set time.
•
To cancel the delayed start, press the key
light will go out.
•
To create a new timer, repeat steps 1 to 3 above. If you have not unplugged the coffee
machine from the mains socket, the previously programmed start time will still be in the
memory.
•
If there is a power outage or you unplug the appliance, the timer program will not be
saved.
•
You can program a delayed start up to 24 hours in advance.
