_2.2 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
_Only suitable for indoor use.
_Keep the electrical components away from rain and moisture. If water enters electrical compo­
nents, there is an increased risk of an electric shock and damage to the components affected.
_Check the cable and plug before each use. Should you notice any damage to the cables or
plugs, please do not use the device any longer.
_Prior to adjusting or transporting the device, the mains plug must be removed. Prior to cleaning
the electrical components, make sure that the power connection is disconnected.
_Any furniture with electrical installation must be checked in accordance with the accident
prevention regulations and the generally acknowledged technical rules at the time intervals
specified.
_If an external, flexible cable of an electrical component or light is damaged, this must only be
replaced by an Interstuhl service technician or an equally qualified service technician commis­
sioned by Interstuhl.
_Only devices such as mini PCs, media players or similar may be connected to the row of expan­
sion slots inside a "media board" product due to heat generation/fire risk.
_Ensure that you do not trip over any exposed power cables.
3. TECHNICAL INFORMATION
_ All Interstuhl upholstered furniture with electrical equipment complies with the relevant
European directives (see Declaration of Conformity, page 1)
