Packaging
The device is supplied in packaging to prevent its
being damaged in transit. This packaging is raw
material and can therefore be reused or can be
returned to the raw material system.
When using the equipment, a few safety
precautions must be observed to avoid injuries
and damage.
Read the operating instructions carefully and
comply with them. It is important to consult these
instructions in order to acquaint yourself with the
unit, its proper use and safety regulations.
Keep this manual in a safe place, so that the
information is available at all times.
If you give the equipment to any other person,
hand over these operating instructions as well.
We cannot accept any liability for damage or
accidents which arise due to a failure to follow
these instructions.
1. Scope of use
The wood splitter is designed for splitting wood with
maximum lengths of 590/850/1350 mm and a
maximum diameter of 400 mm. Please note that our
equipment has not been designed for use in
commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our
warranty will be voided if the equipment is used in
commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for
equivalent purposes.

of the symbols on the device are set out in the
enclosed booklet.

4. Assembly
4.1 Fitting the wheels (Fig. 3-4)
Guide the axle (Fig. 3/Item 14) through the holes
provided for it at the bottom on the rear of the wood
splitter (Fig. 3). Slide a washer (Fig. 3/Item 15) over
the axle on either side of the wheel (Fig. 3/Item 7) and
secure the parts with a securing split pin (Fig. 4/Item
16).
4.2. Fitting the control lever and hand guards
(Fig. 5-7)
Fig. 5 shows the assembly holes (Fig. 5/Item 21) for
the control lever. Place the control lever in position in
line with the assembly holes. Make sure that the
trigger lever (Fig. 6/Item 24) is correctly positioned.
Insert one screw (Fig. 6/Item 17) with washer (Fig.
6/Item 18) through each of the assembly holes from
above and fit a washer (Fig. 7/Item 18) and self-
locking nut (Fig. 7/Item 19) from below. In order to
ensure that the control lever remains mobile, avoid
over-tightening the nuts.
4.3. Fitting the star screw for adjusting the
splitter height (Fig. 8)
Screw in the star screw (Fig. 8/Item 12) in accordance
with Fig. 8 and tighten.
4.4. Fitting the trunk support (Fig. 9)
Guide the trunk support (Fig. 9/Item 2) into the
bracket (Fig. 9/Item 5) from the front. Make sure that
trunk support is tightly against the wood splitter, as
shown in Fig. 9, and that the bracket (Fig. 9/Item 5) is
tightly against the recess provided for it in the trunk
support.
4.5. Height adjustment
You can use the trunk support as described in 4.4 for
splitting material with lengths of up to 590 mm. The
trunk table (Fig. 1/Item 13) is designed for supporting
material for splitting which has lengths of up to 850
mm. For splitting material with lengths of up to 1,350
mm, simply fold the trunk table away. To do so, press
