Foaming milk
• Attach attachment "B".
• Fill between 100ml and 175ml cold milk into the jug.
Caution:
Observe the filling mark, the milk will otherwise foam over.
Note:
• For optimum results use milk with 3.5% fat content and
fill in 175ml.
• Milk with 1.5% fat content and soy milk or lactose-free
milk does not froth as well.
• Attach the lid to the appliance. The slot in the lid must sit
on the handle.
Warm up the milk
• Attach attachment "A".
• Fill between 100ml and 350ml cold milk into the jug.
Note: Observe the filling mark.
• Put the cover on. The slot in the lid must sit on the handle.
Switch on
• Place the can onto the base.
• Press the switch on button. The lamp in the switch lights
up. The milk is whipped and heated up.
Note:
► The appliance can only be operated with attached jug.
► The switch is only for turning on. The process runs
automatically and ends with the temperature reaching
approx. 80°C (after approx. 90 seconds).
Caution:
Do not press the switch continuously.
• You can fill the milk foam into a cup when the control light
goes out.
Interrupting operation
Lift the can from the base, if you would like to interrupt opera-
tion.
Further Tips:
► After using the milk frother for warming up liquids it
takes approx. 9 minutes for the appliance to cool down
again. During this period the pilot light inside the switch
flashes red.
► You can decrease this period by filling the jug with some
cold liquid.
Cleaning
Warning:
► Always pull the power supply plug before cleaning.
► Allow the appliance to cool down.

► Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive items.
► Never use sharp or scouring cleaning materials.
Base and can from outside
Warning:
Never immerse the base and the can in water for cleaning.
It could result in an electric shock or fire.
Clean the outside of the base and can with a dry cloth, with-
out additives.
Jug inside and attachment
• Pull the attachment off the shaft.
• Only rinse the parts by hand with a soft cloth.
• Use clear water and a detergent.
• Clean tough stains with a cleaning brush.
• Rinse with clean water.
