Instructions for use ETS Plus remote indicator – english
What the illuminated symbols mean:
Symbol
LED colour Description
Red
Lights up – when the batteries need to be charged so that the
device can function properly.
Orange
Blinks – when the remote indicator receives an unconnected or
no ETS Plus signal, or when the ETS Plus signal is too weak.
In these cases, check whether the ETS Plus is switched on and if the
status LED on the drawbar is illuminated. If yes, connect the ETS
Plus via the 'ETS Plus connection' button (for details of how to do
this, see the 'Description of the buttons' table).
*
Note: If the remote indicator is not receiving an ETS Plus signal,
the ETS Plus may also be in sleep mode. The ETS Plus goes into
sleep mode in order to save the battery when the vehicle is parked
for a longer period of time. As soon as the journey is resumed,
the movement of the vehicle ends the sleep mode.
Green / red Lights up green – when the ETS Plus is working properly.
Lights up red – when an exceptional state is detected or an error
has occurred in the ETS Plus. Please take a look at the display of
the status LED on the drawbar. You can also determine the cause
with reference to the ETS Plus manual.
Red
Blinks red – when ETS Plus applies the brakes. An acoustic signal
sounds at the same time.
