Do not exceed the maximum load of 5 kg in the basket. Loads must only be transported in the basket. Do not hang heavy
objects on the rollator as this could affect its stability.
Do not use the rollator on stairs or escalators.
Use only accessories and parts supplied by the manufacturer.
Make sure that the knobs are tightened to the same level and the handles are securely fastened.
The rollator is a walking aid. It is not a wheelchair. It is not designed to carry a person sitting on it. Such use may damage
the wheels and the structure of the rollator itself. The rollator could be weakened and no longer meet its mechanical char-
acteristics in future use. Only use the rollator as a walking support.
Do not use the rollator to walk backwards.
Always sit on the seat when the rollator is stationary and the brakes are locked. Serious injury to the user and/or damage
to the rollator frame and/or wheels can result from inappropriate use.
Make sure all parts (wheels, cables, handles, brakes) are secure and in good working order.
Do not make any adjustments to the rollator while it is in use. All wheels must always be in contact with the ground.
Check that the brakes function properly before use.
Make sure that the parking brakes are securely attached.
When the rollator is in the stationary position, the brakes must be locked. Do not attempt to move the rollator if the
brakes are locked.
Be sure to put your hands on each handle so that the rollator can be in the parallel force position. Make sure the seat is
clipped flat before use.
Make sure the seat tube caps are present.
During use, lock the parking brakes for all actions.
Do not attempt to push the rollator while someone is sitting in the seat.
Do not use the seat to carry objects.
Do not use the seat without the backrest.
Do not sit in the seat when the rollator is on a slope.
The brakes must be in the locked position before sitting in the seat.
Do not attempt to reach objects while sitting down by leaning forward. Do not lean backwards as this can cause the rolla-
tor to tip over.
Be careful when walking up pavements or on inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces. Failure to do so may result in a signifi-
cant risk of falling or injury.
Do not use the rollator on a wet, frozen, or snow-covered slopes. If any parts are damaged, broken or worn, contact the
dealer.
ASSEMBLING & USE
Check all parts carefully before assembling the product. Do not assemble the product if any parts are missing or are damaged.
ASSEMBLING :
1. Open the 3 wheels rollator into its operating position.
2. Insert the handlebars into the frame tubes and set to the correct height as follows:
o
Stand upright behind the rollator with your shoulders relaxed and your arms by your side, looking straight ahead.
o
When you are in this position, the handgrips should be adjusted to height that brings them level with your wrists.
o
Your arms should now be able to be bent at an angle of 20° to 30° when using the rollator.
o
Check that the holes in both the Handlebars and the frame are correctly aligned.
o
Place the supplied bolt through the aligned holes in the handlebar and frame. The holes in the frame are hexagonal in
shape so that they accommodate the head of the bolt.
o
Place the washer over the threaded section of bolt that is protruding from the outer side of the frame and then screw
the hand wheel onto the threaded section. Hand-tighten firmly, but do not overtighten.
o
Follow the same procedure for the second handlebar.
3. Check the brakes grip the wheels thoroughly before using the rollator.
NOTE: The brakes are factory set and if assembled correctly, should not need adjusting.
To check: Apply and release the parking brake on each side 10 times. (See diagram 2b) The brake should grip the wheel and
prevent any movement when they are applied. When released, the gap between the brake and the wheel should be
between 1mm and 3mm. If either of the above conditions are not correct, adjust the brakes as detailed in the maintenance
section and re-check the brakes.
4. Fit the bag to the frame using the poppers supplied.
