1) For balanced signals the XLR jack (3) and the
6.3 mm jack (2) are suitable [configuration of the
contacts
chapter 6].
2) For unbalanced signals the phono jack (1) or the
6.3 mm jack (2) is suitable if 2-pole plugs are used.
When several jacks are used at the same time, the
input signals are mixed.
4.2 Power supply
Connect the plug of the mains cable (8) to a mains
socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
5 Operation
CAUTION Never adjust the audio system to a very
high volume. Permanent high volumes
may damage your hearing! The human
ear will get accustomed to high volumes
which do not seem to be that high any
more after some time. Therefore, do not
further increase a high volume after get-
ting used to it.
Note: To prevent switching noise, always switch on the
speakers after the units connected and switch
them off first after use.
1) Set the control GAIN (4) to -30 dB (left stop) first
and switch on the speaker system with the POWER
switch (6). The LED on the front side lights up.
2) Tune the input amplification to the signal source
with the control GAIN. Only turn up the control so far
that the sound will not be distorted.
3) If desired, adapt the high range from -2 dB to +1 dB
with the switch HF ADJUST (5).
4) After use switch off the speaker system with the
POWER switch.
