9.
Fold the legs of the solar collector outwards and adjust to the desired length. To do this, hold
the end of the aluminium rod and turn it anti-clockwise to unlock. Pull the collector's leg to
the desired length. Lock again by turning clockwise (Figures 13, 13a, 13b).
10. Put a cotter pin through each of the two holes in the legs (Figure 13c).
11.
Remove the protective film from the top of the collector. (Figure 14).
Connecting several collectors
If you'd like to increase the heating capacity, you can connect several collectors together. (Figure
15). You will need a Ø 38 mm pool hose. We recommend connecting a maximum of 2 collectors
depending on your filter system's capacity.
COMMISSIONING
When the solar installation is set up and the hoses are connected to the filter pump and the pool,
open the water inlet and ensure that water flows through the hose. Then switch on the filter system.
Air bubbles will rise from the inlet nozzle in the pool. This is because the air is being pushed out
of the solar collector. Check your installation for leaks if this takes longer than 2 to 3 minutes.
Note: Cover your pool at night to prevent heat loss.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Check all the parts for signs of wear. Do not continue to use the product if you find any defects.
Only have parts replaced with original spare parts by a specialist in accordance with the
manufacturer's specifications. Regular maintenance helps to ensure the safety of the product and
increases its service life.
Cleaning
All parts may only be rinsed or cleaned with water. Cleaning products can damage the protective
cover.
Storage over the winter
The solar collector should not be exposed to cold weather. The solar collector must be stored in
a frost-proof place before the first frost occurs, or at the end of the pool season.
Drain all the water from the solar collector by closing off the pipes. Store the unit in a frost-proof
place over the winter. Remove the pool return lines. Ensure that there is no water inside the unit,
as it may freeze. Frozen water expands and can therefore damage the solar chambers.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The pool is not heated.
No initial bubbling after the unit is
connected to the pump.
Potential cause / solution
Ensure that water is flowing through the hoses.
Was it sunny enough?
Make use of the maximum possible solar radiation and
increase the filter pump's running time
Cover your pool overnight to prevent heat loss.
Several solar collectors may be necessary.
Check the filter system and ensure that water is
flowing from the pool through the filter pump, then
