TARE FUNCTION
The TARE function is particularly useful if you want to fill different foodstuff in one bowl, as the
scale allows you to weigh each additional foodstuff separately. After weighing the first foodstuff
touch the „oz/ml/g/ZERO" button to reset to zero. After the scale has leveled off, the display
shows „0 g" and you may then add the next foodstuff. The display will show the weight of it
only. The process is repeatable until the max. capacity of the scale (3 kg) has been reached. After
removal of the loading, the display indicates the total weight as a negative value.
SWITCH-OFF
You may switch off the scale at any time by keeping pressing the "POWER/TIMER" button. In
order to prolong the battery life the scale will switch off automatically after about 1 minute.
CHARGING PROCESS
When "LO" appears in the display, the battery is weak. Recharge the scale at a suitable USB
connection. During the charging process (about 2-3 hours) the control light flashes. As soon as
the display shows "FULL" the charging process is completed. For safety reasons, the device will
not work during the charging process.
Attention! To increase the working life of the rechargeable battery, disconnect the product from
the electricity as soon as the charging is complete and recharge the product at least every
2-3 months.

What not to do:
• Do not immerse the scale in water or other liquids.
• Do not put the scale into the dishwasher.
• Do not put items onto the scale exceeding 3 kg.
• Never repair the scale yourself and use the original accessories supplied only.
• Do not try to open the scale.
What to do:
• Always clean the scale with a soft cloth only.
• Keep the scale away from fire, temperatures above 50 °C (122 °F) and direct sunlight.
• Always store the scale in a dry condition.
