Safety Instructions for Coffee Makers
Before using this appliance, read the following safety instructions and the separately
enclosed instruction manual very carefully.

• During operation and afterwards, the temperature of the acces-
sible surfaces can be very high.
• Even after use the surface of the heating element still has resid-
ual heat.
• The coffee maker shall not be placed in a cabinet when in use.
• Make sure that no liquid runs over the appliance connector.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above if they have been given supervision or instruction concern-
ing the safe use of the appliance understand the hazards involved
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than
8 years.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards
involved.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
