Before beginning installation, please do the following:
1. Locate the manufacture information
The manufacture date is located on the product sticker located on the bottom edge of the unit or
printed directly on the shipping carton.
2. Register your Changing Station
It is important that you register your new Changing Station in case of a recall or to obtain free
replacement parts.

DAILY MAINTENANCE
• The Changing Station surface should be cleaned daily with a soft sponge and organic cleanser. Do
not use a cleanser that contains chlorine, acetone, methyl alcohol or mineral spirits.
• As part of the daily cleaning, you should check that the warning and instructional label is in place. If
the label is missing, discontinue use of the changing station by taping the unit closed and placing a
sign on the unit that says "Out of Service." Visit www.ecr4kids.com/changingstation to obtain a free
replacement label.
• Inspect the buckle and strap for proper functioning. Check that the fastening screws are tight. If
needed, you can clean the buckle and strap with mild soap and water. If the safety strap becomes
damaged or is missing, discontinue use by taping the unit closed and placing a sign on the unit that
says "Out of Service." Visit www.ecr4kids.com/changingstation to obtain a free replacement strap.
PERIODIC INSPECTIONS
• This unit complies with the ASTM static load performance when properly installed. This unit has a
concealed pneumatic cylinder to provide a controlled, slow opening and closing of the bed. In case
of excessive weight or other misuse, the pneumatic cylinder may become damaged. Contact
a qualified professional to repair the cylinder or replace the unit. If the unit cannot be repaired,
remove from the wall so it does not create a safety hazard.
• Check the hinges and mounting hardware. Ensure that the mounting bolts are not loose by pulling
lightly on the unit toward you and from side to side. If there is any play greater than about 0.25 inch
or 2.55 mm in any direction, discontinue use by placing a sign on the unit that says "Out of Service."

• Never leave child unattended. Keep one hand on child at all times.
• To avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out, always use restraint system.
• Designed for infants only, ages up to 3.5 years and weighing less than 50 lbs.
• Do not stand, sit, kneel, climb, lean or pull on changing table for support.
• Do not use unit with damaged pneumatic cylinder.
