3.0 Adaptive Mode

The AC4451 is shipped in default setting with all dipswitches set to OFF. In this mode
the media converter is set to "Adaptive Mode". In this mode only an uncoded 1Gbps
SFP module can be used. The ethernet port on the media converter is in auto
negotiate and will work in 10/100/1000Mbps network environments.

When using 2x AC4451 in "Adaptive Mode" both media converters must have the
same uncoded SFP transceiver.
