20 | 4 - SAFETY CONDITIONS
have to be disposed of according to the cur-
rent regulations. Do not use the FLUSHING
KIT equipment with compressed air systems,
R1234yf and air mixtures can be potentially ex-
plosive. Some air and R1234yf mixtures have
shown to be combustible at high pressures.
These mixtures are potentially dangerous and
can cause risk of fire and explosion therefore
causing damages to people, animals and prop-
erty. Do not modify the calibration of safety
devices. Do not remove the seals of the safety
valves and of the control systems. Do not use
external tanks or other storage containers that
are not homologated or without safety valves. Do
not forget that the equipment (pressure equip-
ment) must always be protected.
HOSE CONNECTIONS: Hoses may contain
pressurised refrigerant. Before changing the
service couplers, check the respective pres-
sures in the hoses (pressure gauge), before any
connection to a component or to the external
tank. Scrupulously follow the instructions on the
equipment's display.
4.2
Important information on
equipment safety
When using the equipment, the following opera-
tions are not allowed as they might cause, under
certain circumstances, danger for persons and
cause permanent damage to the equipment
itself.

able labels, signs and/or dangers
signs placed on the equipment and
in the area nearby.
- Do not disable the unit's safety
equipment.
4.3
Safety devices
The FLUSHING KIT is equipped with the follow-
ing safety devices:
SAFETY VALVES: The safety valve
opens when the pressure inside
the system reaches a level higher
than the fixed limits.
Any tampering with the above-
mentioned safety devices is
prohibited.
Failure to observe any of the
above safety instructions voids
the equipment's warranty.
