DIN head unit provision
1. Cut and remove the shaft supports from
the Radio Housing.
2. Slide the DIN cage into the Housing and
secure by bending the metal locking
tabs down. (Figure A)
3. Slide the aftermarket head unit into the
cage until secure. (Figure A)
4. Mount the Rear Support Bracket to
the back of the head unit with the
necessary hardware. (Figure B)
5. Locate the factory wiring harness in the
dash. Metra recommends using the
proper mating adapter from Metra or
AXXESS. Re-connect the negative
battery terminal and test the unit for
proper operation.
6. Remove the top (2) Phillips screws
securing the climate control cluster to
the sub-dash.
7. Slide the head unit/kit assembly into the
dash cavity (be sure the Rear Support
Bracket engages the support shelf in
the dash).
8. Mount the bottom legs of the kit to
the same holes in the climate control
cluster with the (2) Phillips screws
previously removed. (Figure C)
9. Reassemble dash in reverse order
of disassembly.
