Battery care
When the battery gets low, a red LED light on the sensor will blink 3 times.
DIRIGERA hub and IKEA Home smart app users can view battery status in the app
and receive notifications when the battery starts to run out.
Changing the battery
Open the battery lid and replace with a new AAA/HR03 battery.
Recommended battery type:
1 x IKEA LADDA 750 (AAA/HR03, 1.2V, 750mAh, Ni-MH) (not included)
Factory reset
To reset and remove all connected products, quick-press the Pairing button 4
times within 5 seconds. A LED light strip on the sensor will blink and then shine
continually once the reset is complete.
WARNING!
Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used
batteries according to the instructions.
IMPORTANT!
• The sensor is for indoor use only and can be used in temperatures ranging from
0ºC to 45ºC.
• Do not leave the sensor in direct sunlight or near any heat source, as it may
overheat.
• The range between the sensor and the receiver are measured in open air.
• Different building materials and placement of the units can affect the wireless
connectivity range.
• The sensor will not work if mounted on a magnetic metal surfaces.
Care instructions
To clean the product, wipe with a soft cloth moistened with a little mild detergent.
Use another soft, dry cloth to wipe dry. Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical
solvents as this can damage the product.
