Select Change User Password to give or leave the password settings the
same as the Change Administrator Password item above.
Note that the Administrator Password field allows users to enter and
change the BIOS SETUP UTILITY settings, while the User Password field
only allows users to enter the BIOS SETUP UTILITY without being autho-
rized to make any changes.
The Password Check item is used to specify the type of BIOS password
protection that has been implemented.
To clear a set Administrator Password/User Password, simply press
[Enter] in the Change Administrator Password/Change User Password
field when prompted to enter the password. A message will appear con-
firming the password deactivation. Once the password is deactivated,
the system will start and the user will be able to access the configura-
tion without entering the password.
Key management:
Allows the expert user to modify the Secure Boot Policy variables
without full authentication.
