must be protected from moisture and rain!
> Disconnect the device from the mains if it is not being used and
during cleaning or maintenance!
> Do not open the device!

> Never leave the device unattended whilst operating!
> Excessive voltage could destroy your notebook! Only use the
device within its max. power ratings (see „Technical data").
> Only carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks with the mains
cable disconnected.
> This device is not to be used by persons (including children)
who have restricted physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
who do not have adequate experience and knowledge in
handling this device. Such persons must be instructed
beforehand by a supervisory person who is responsible for their
safety or must be supervised during the use of the device!
> Failure to observe the safety instructions can result in dangerous
injuries to persons or damage to the device or the rechargeable
batteries!
Important settings / first use:
Before connecting the mains power unit with the consumer and
the mains power supply, ensure that the output voltage (V) and
the output current (mA) of the mains power unit are suitable for
the consumer device.
1. Check the current:
Ensure that your consumer does not require more current (mA)
than the mains power unit can deliver (refer to the type plate on
the mains power unit). The mains power unit could be destroyed
if overloaded.
2. Selection of the correct output plug:
A number of common output plugs are included. Select the
correct plug for your application. The plug must fit snugly in the
device to be operated but must not jam. Please do not use force.
3. Adjusting the voltage / first use:
Check the input voltage (cited in V DC) required by your notebook.
Set this voltage on the mains power unit with the help of the key
on the rotary switch and connect the mains power unit with the
mains power supply once the consumer has been connected. The
notebook can now be switched on.
