INSTRUCTIONS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURIES.
Keep the safety instructions with care and hand them over to the operating personnel.
INTENDED USE
- The lift has the following intended use:
• Suitable only for lifting bicycles up to the maximum load capacity indicated in the technical data-sheet.
- The following operations are forbidden:
• For uses other than those indicated in this manual
• Using operating methods and procedures other than those described in this manual
• With any of its parts tampered with
• To lift bicycles with persons on board
• For the repair and maintenance of motorbikes
• For bicycles with a longer wheelbase than that indicated in the technical data table
• For the repair and maintenance of tandems
• For tricycles
• For cargo bicycles
• For bicycles other than those for which the workbench has been designed
• For lifting persons or animals
• For lifting objects other than bicycles
The manufacturer will not be held liable for any failure, damage or injury resulting from use that does not comply with this manual.
- Permitted conditions of use:
The workbench has been designed and built to allow a single person to secure a bicycle to the platform and then move it manually
and service or repair the bicycle.
This manual describes the procedure for the correct use of the workbench and the acceptable operating parameters.
Bicycles that can be secured to the workbench must be of a size that allows them to be secured to it; i.e. push-bikes and e-bikes.
The wheelbase of the bicycle MUST NOT EXCEED 1,300 mm. The workbench can also be used to secure only the frame of the
bicycle.
WORKSTATION SAFETY
To ensure full operating reliability, BETA UTENSILI S.p.a. has carefully selected the materials and components to use for the
construction of the workbench. The good performance of the workbench over time also depends on correct use and appropriate
preventive maintenance, following the instructions provided in this manual.
Please note that:
• The workbench must not be used and no work must be carried out using it if you have not carefully read and fully understood
all parts of this manual.
• It is forbidden to tamper with, alter or modify, even partially, the workbench.
• It is forbidden to use the workbench in conditions or for purposes other than those indicated in this manual.
• Safety signs affixed to the workbench must not be removed, covered or damaged.
• It is the user's responsibility to carry out routine cleaning and maintenance on the workbench, and to contact the manufacturer
in the case of extraordinary maintenance as established in this manual.
• It is recommended to use appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) (gloves, safety shoes, suitable clothing) when
using the workbench (normal operation, installation, emergencies, cleaning, maintenance, dismantling ).
