SAFETY RULES AND RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE & DURING USE
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury during installation of the machine, take the following basic
precautions:
Allow at least 0.5cm space between the machine and other furniture.
A minimum distance from water points must also be maintained for electrical safety reasons. For example, if
you wish to install your machine in the bathroom, a minimum distance from the bathtub or shower tray is
required (standard NF C 15‐100). The appliance must be placed more than 1.80 m from the shower water inlet
and more than 60 cm from the edge of the bathtub.
The electrical line that supplies the appliance must be protected by a differential device of at most 30 mA.
CAUTION : Do not place your machine on carpeting or similar surfaces. The carpet will not be thick enough to
absorb the vibrations that cause noise pollution and if the machine leaks, the carpet will absorb water and will
become
damaged
CAUTION : Moisture can also impregnate the floor and create water damage.
Always use authorized personnel for all installation and repair procedures. The manufacturer cannot be held
liable for damage caused by repairs carried out by unauthorised persons.
Only a qualified plumber should carry out the hydraulic work required to install the appliance.
If the electrical installation in your home requires a modification to the connection of your appliance, call a
qualified electrician.
Do not put your hands in the machine when it is switched on (power button pressed).
Do not install or store the machine in a place exposed to the weather.
