HUGINN IS A MECHANICAL AUTOMATIC SWISS MADE WATCH WITH SELF WINDING SYSTEM.
To start and set the watch, wind it automatically or manually (by turning the crown clockwise a few revolutions until the second hand moves). Secondly, you should set
the time and date (for instructions on setting the time and date, see the section on the model you have purchased).
Wearing the watch during the day for approximately 14 hours, the self-winding mechanism will provide a power reserve of approximately 38-40 hours. If you wear the
watch for less than 12 hours, the power reserve will not reach maximum charge and will run out before 38 hours.
Please note: the achieved power reserve may vary, depending on numerous factors including wrist movement, temperature (standard normal wrist temperature:
between 5-50 degrees).
If you do not wear your watch every day but wish to maintain its power reserve, we recommend you purchase an automatic watch winder which allows you to place
the watch on its rotating mounts which make it turn in two directions, always maintaining the watch with its maximum power reserve.
If you prefer to wind the watch manually when you are not wearing it, you need to turn the crown every day for about 40 complete revolutions to get the 38-40 hours
power reserve.
Each time you turn the crown with your fingers you only make half a revolution, so it is recommended to double the number of revolutions with your fingers to reach
full revolutions.
PLEASE NOTE: it is strictly forbidden the use of electric motors or plastic bands to turn the crown. It can seriously damage the mechanism. The SBW factory will not
cover any damage related to this.
