If there is a significant fall in pressure or an abnormality in the machine during operation, a thermal
protection tool for overheating the engine can be activated to stop the engine. In this case:
1. Disconnect the power switch and the power plug from the socket.
2. Check whether a C.A. circuit breaker of 230 V, 125 A or a higher current capacity is used, if the
extension cable is not long enough or the cross-section is too small, or if the same power source is
also used for another electric tool etc. If this is the case, stop using the extension cable or the elec-
tric device.
WARNING
When the extension cable or the drum cable is used, ensure that a cable with a cross-section of
2.5 mm² or more is used, and ensure it is 20 m long when fully stretched out.
* In order to avoid a loss of pressure through using the extension cable, connect the machine direct-
ly to the main power source by avoiding using the cable as much as possible.
* When the main power source is less then 230 V or when the other electric device is used simulta-
neously, the pressure drops more.
* The power circuit breaker can be activated if another electric device is used with the same power
supply and the overall value of the power consumption exceeds the current capacity of the power
circuit breaker. If this is the case, avoid combined use with the same power source.
3. Connect the power plug to the power socket and activate the power switch to restart the opera-
tion.
* Unless the engine is completely cold, the protective tool can be reactivated immediately, even if the
machine works again. Furthermore, the machine may not function if the power switch is on. In this
case, allow the machine to cool for approx. 30 minutes.
4. If the protective device is activated even though there is nothing wrong with the power source or
the cable, it probably means there is a fault with the machine. Please contact our supplier or the
ALSAFIX After-Sales Service to have the machine inspected and repaired.
WARNING
* Never use a transformer such as a generator as the machine's power supply.
* If this precaution is not observed, faults or a burning are likely (when a generator is used the
machine cannot be started).
* Never use the machine with a motor-generator unit or with a CC power supply. If this precaution is
not observed, faults or a fire are likely.
OPERATIONAL ABNORMALITIES
WARNING
Never use the machine if any abnormality is found.
If an abnormality is found, regardless of what it is, immediately switch off the power switch, unplug
the power socket and contact our After-Sales Service to have the machine inspected and repaired.
