- Use auxiliary handle(s), if supplied with the
tool. Loss of control can cause personal injury.
- Hold power tool by insulated gripping
surfaces, when performing an operation
where the cutting accessory may contact
hidden wiring. Cutting accessory contacting a
"live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the
power tool "live" and could give the operator an
electric shock.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
- Caution: A new battery is not fully charged and
must therefore be charged before the appliance
is used for the first time.
- Charge the battery at an atmospheric tempera-
ture of between 4 and 40ºC.
- Plug the charger (J) into the mains and wait until
the green light turns on.
- Approximately 3 to 5 hours are needed for a
complete charge of the battery. Never attempt to
over charge the battery (although it is recom-
mended that the first charge of the battery be of
5 hours in duration).
- Release the battery from the impact drill by
using the battery release button.
- Place the battery over the charger matching the
metallic bands to the sockets in the battery. A
red light will turn on if the battery has a lack of
loading.
- When the battery is charged only the green light
will remain. Disconnect the charger from the
mains and you will be ready to start using the
appliance with the loaded battery.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
- Make sure that all the product's packaging has
been removed.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating
label matches the mains voltage before plug-
ging in the appliance.
- Before using this product for the first time, it is
important to make a full charge of batteries.
- Prepare the appliance according to the function
you wish to use. Following lines will explain how
to do it.
- Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
unplugged before carrying out any work on the
tool.
INSERT A DRILL BIT:
- To open the drill's chuck, whilst completely
switched off, take firm hold of the back part of
the chuck and turn the front part of the chuck
counter clockwise.
- Insert the drill bit, screwdriver bit, or other tool/
accessory required for the task, into the chuck.
In order to obtain a secure fastening of the bit,
insert the bit as far as you can into the chuck.
Take firm hold of the back part of the chuck and
turn the front part of the chuck clockwise until it
is firmly closed.
- In order to remove accessories from the chuck,
follow the same steps as indicated previously
but in reverse order.
LIGHT FUNCTION:
- The appliance includes a light function, which il-
luminates the working area under the appliance.
