Picking Appropriate Flange
Step 1: Using a straightedge or tape measure, calculate the nipple root's diameter in millimeters (mm). While measuring, leave
out the areola section.
Step 2:
Using the +4mm principle, select the appropriate shield size based on the measurement results from the chart. If the
diameter is 16 mm, you should buy a 21 mm sucking breast shield because it is 17 mm otherwise.
