Applications

Device description

Function
The EBS-PT is supplied with compressed air via connection 1. The
compressed air flowing through generates a vacuum at connection
2 and is blown off to the outside via connection 3 (silencer or
exhaust line).

Assembly
Improper use
The EBS-PT can be damaged by forceful impacts.

Do not forcefully impact the EBS-PT.

Use the appropriate tools.

Follow the assembly instructions.

Installing and mounting the EBS-PT
Mounting orientation
The EBS-PT can be mounted in any orientation.
Assembling the EBS-PT on the EBS assembly strip
The EBS assembly strip (see "Accessories") enables quick and
easy assembly of all EBS-PT sizes.
The number of EBS-PT ejectors that may be assembled depends
on the size:

Assembling the EBS assembly strip
O
Fasten the EBS assembly strip (1) with at least 2 M4 screws (2),

= 0.6 Nm and with the washers on the base.

Assembling the EBS-PT
O
Place the EBS-PT (1) on the EBS assembly strip (2), so that it
audibly engages.

Assembling the EBS-PT on a base
O
Make sure that the EBS-PT completely contacts the base and
fastened without any torsion or stress during assembly.
O
Fasten the EBS-PT (1) with at least 2 screws (2) (M4,
M
= 0.7 Nm, L = 20 mm) and with the washers on the base.

Connecting the EBS-PT
System is operating under pressure
Working on the system when under pressure could lead to
injuries and damage!
O
Depressurize all relevant system parts before working on
the system.
High sound level
High sound levels will occur if the EBS-PT if connection 3
(exhaust) is open during operation. This high sound level can
lead to a loss of hearing over the long run.
O
Only operate the EBS-PT with a silencer or connected
exhaust line.
Use short plastic tubing and small volumes between the
EBS-PT and the suction gripper.
