2. Slide the lid lock (fig. B) and open the grill.
Note. By default, the grill opens to 105°. To open the grill to 180°, gently lower
the lid (fig. C) by first pressing and holding the hinge release button.
3. Wipe the cooking plates with a soft cloth dampened with a warm detergent
solution, then with a cloth dampened with clean water. Wipe the cooking
plates dry.
4. Perform a test run (see below).
Test Run
Note. A test run of the device is performed without using any food.
1. Place the grill on a stable horizontal surface.
2. Close the lid of the device and plug the power cord into an outlet.
3. Set the temperature control knob to the "MAX" position. The heating
indicator will light up.
WARNING! A small amount of smoke and a characteristic odour during the
test run are not a defect of the device.
4. Wait until the heating indicator turns off.
5. Set the temperature control knob to the "0" position, unplug the device.
6. Open the grill and wait for it to cool completely.
7. Wipe the cooking plates with a soft cloth dampened with clean water, then
wipe them dry. The grill is ready for use.
Operation
1. Prepare the products: wash and/or peel them if necessary, chop large
products, thaw frozen foods.
Note. Cooking time will depend on the type of product, the thickness of the
cut and the desired degree of doneness.
2. Make sure that the grease drip tray is inserted into the grill (fig. D).
3. If necessary, put a small amount of oil/butter on the cooking plates.
4. Close the grill and plug it in.
