Connect to "Switch"-console (wireless)
Connect the controller via the console's system. Depending on the
language and version of the system, the menu might look different,
but it should be something like this:
Press the "Home"- button from main screen -> Controllers -> Change
Grip/Order.
Press and hold the connection button (21) for about 4 seconds to
connect.
The 4 LED lights will flash quickly (release the button).
Follow the instructions on the screen to connect.
LED 1 stays lit.
Connect to "Switch"-console (wired
Before connecting the controller to the console, you must enable
Pro Controller Wired communication.
From the main screen -> System settings -> Controllers and sensors
-> Pro Controller Wired communication-> On.
Connect a USB-A to USB-C cable to the controller and the console's
dock. TV mode must also be activated.
Press the "Home"- button from main screen -> Controllers -> Change
Grip/Order. Follow the instructions on the screen to connect. If
it says USB under the controller, then the wired connection is
successful.
Reconnect and wake up controller
To reconnect press and hold the "Home"-button for about 2 seconds
to wake up the controller and reconnect.
The controller will return to sleep mode if it can't reconnect
within 10 seconds.
Disconnect ("Switch")
Press and hold the "Home" button for about 6 seconds to disconnect
the controller. The controller will enter sleep mode.
Note: this will also open the console's sleep mode window.
3.5 mm ("Switch" & "Windows")
Use the 3.5 mm audio connection to connect a microphone,
headphones, or a headset.
Only works in wired mode only on Switch and in Windows wired in
"pro" controller mode.
Check the section for wired mode(different for Switch or Windows),
then after that is successful, then you can connect with the 3.5
mm audio.
If you don't hear any sounds, try to disconnect and connect again.
Troubleshooting ("Switch")
Make sure airplane mode is off. Try to delete the information for
this controller from ->controllers and sensors. Try to reconnect.
Vibration
The controller has 2 built-in vibration motors.
Calibrate control stick (Switch)
1. Press the "Home"- button from main screen -> System settings ->
Controllers and sensors -> Calibrate control sticks.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen to calibrate.
Calibrate motion control (Switch)
1. Press the "Home"- button from main screen -> System settings ->
Controllers and sensors -> Calibrate motion controls.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen to calibrate.
If the calibration is successful, restart the controller and
console.
If the calibration fails, press the Y button to restore the
settings, and press the X button to repeat the calibration steps.
Connect to "Windows/Android/iPhone"
You can connect in 2 similar ways with wireless. Either with X or
with Y button. X uses Xinput (a system API).
For Android, we recommend Y button connection. For Windows and
iPhone we recommend X button connection.
If you have connected an iPhone with Y, games will not respond. Try
again with X button connection.
The controller will show up with different names in the Bluetooth
