Always wear protective gloves when installing the
blade.
1. Unplug the power cord;
2. Use the blade locking wrench to secure the outer flange
(8);
3. Loosen the blade fixing bolt (10) using the supplied
spanner;
4. Remove the bolt and flange;
5. Place the new blade over one spacer ring, in the direction
indicated on the blade and on the fixed blade guard;
6. Fit the outer flange and screw the blade bolt onto the
spindle;
7. Use the two spanners again to tighten the bolt;
8. Plug in the power cord and perform a test at full speed
to check for correct blade installation.
This machine can also be used with single blades,
depending on the task to be performed.
You can use single blades in two ways:
▪ 2 blades with up to 5 spacer rings between them
according to the desired cutting width;
▪ 5 alternating blades with 4 spacer rings, i.e., one washer
between each blade in order to work at the maximum
cutting width.
To assemble and change the single blades, use the same
procedure as for the triple-layered blades.
1. Attach the suction hose to the suction port adapter (12);
2. Switch on the vacuum cleaner and only then the wall
chaser.
While operating the power tool there must be certain
precautions and procedures to be observed in order to
avoid loss of control of the machine and work pieces,
damage to the work area and injury to the user.
▪ Keep your hands away from the blade and cutting
surface, the blade can jump back at you and cause
serious injury. Always hold the wall chaser with both
hands;
▪ Never hold a workpiece with your hands or use your legs
as a support while you are working. Secure the
workpiece on a stable and completely stationary surface.
It is important to properly keep the workpiece steady to
minimise the risk of kickback and loss of control;
▪ Do not have or place anything underneath the
workpiece;
▪ Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the
workpiece;
▪ Do not apply too much pressure on the wall chaser
against the work piece/object. If the speed drops
abruptly, you must reduce immediately;
▪ Never start the wall chaser when the blade is touching
the workpiece. You should only touch the blade against
the workpiece after reaching the maximum rotation
speed;
▪ When resuming the cutting operation, align the blade on
the existing cut and ensure that the blade teeth are not
touching the workpiece and the blade reaches maximum
speed. If the blade is stuck, the workpiece may move
forward or backward when the blade starts to rotate.
Keep your hands away from the blade and cutting
surface, the blade can jump back to you and cause
serious injury.
